**The Opportunity**:
AFMH is on the lookout for highly motivated, hardworking, dependable, and responsible people to be part of the AFMH team. We have a rare opportunity to join our Maternity Team. While experience working dairy cattle is an advantage, AFMH will support and train people with other livestock experience and teach you industry leading skills, that have made AFMH a leader in the Australian Dairy Industry. If you have a passion for animal health and want to give our calves the best start in life, this could be the role for you.

**About AFMH**:
AFMH operates multiple sites across eastern Australia. Dairy operations are located at Moxey Farms in Gooloogong, NSW, as well as Coomboona Farms in Coomboona, VIC. In addition, AFMH operates Ladysmith Farms a young stock operation near Wagga Wagga, NSW and extensive cropping land in Torrumbarry, VIC.

**Key Accountabilities include**:

- Caring for late stage pregnancy cows
- Assisting cows with calving when required
- Processing and caring for newly calved cows
- Handling and care of newborn calves
- Identification of health conditions and administering of treatments under the guidance of our onsite vets

**The successful applicant will possess**:

- Must have general livestock experience
- A strong work ethic with good time management skills
- Good communication skills with a strong team spirit and a commitment to attendance and punctuality
- Demonstrated ability to adhere to protocols and safety standards.
- A current driver's license with access to own transport
- Q Fever immunity, or must be willing to undertake a Q Fever test and immunisation
