Step into a rare and exciting opportunity to truly make your mark in the asset management space at GMB Water. As our Maintenance Planner, you'll have the unique chance to elevate our maintenance practices, driving organisational improvement and make a lasting impact.

Reporting to the Manager Integrated Water Planning, Strategy & Performance the Maintenance Planner will be responsible the maintenance planning for the GMB Water Infrastructure.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Review and update maintenance requirements regularly, developing detailed short, medium, and long-term plans.
  • Develop and maintain asset maintenance strategies and levels of service aligned with objectives, budgets, regulations, and customer needs.
  • Create, document and maintain transparent and repeatable processes for maintenance decision-making.
  • Generate fortnightly maintenance plans for operations staff and contractors, applying the relevant performance targets where applicable
  • Contribute to the review and update of GMB Water's asset management plans

Proven experience in Water and Wastewater maintenance is mandatory and a Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electric, or related field) or equivalent experience is required.
