**The Opportunity**
Due to the ongoing success of our national operations, we are expanding our Geo-Environmental Engineering team. We are looking for an **Associate to Principal Geo-Environmental Engineer** to join our **Brisbane office**ideally. Alternatively, the role can be based at our **Gold Coast office**, with planned travel to Brisbane.
This role offers the opportunity to lead a technical team and strengthen relationships with key clients across Australia. You will be instrumental in strategising and delivering projects in the civil infrastructure, urban development, resource management, and renewable energy sectors.
Day to day, you will:
- Lead the delivery of innovative ground engineering design solutions for resource, transport, waste and renewable energy sector clients
- Oversee the delivery of technical documents (reports, specifications, drawings), prepared by an industry leading team of geo-environment design engineers and civil designers
- Build and maintain well established key client relationships with a focus on repeat business
- Lead and Mentor a team of exceptional junior, intermediate and senior engineers who thrive in the shared responsibility for project delivery
- Support operational management by contributing to strategies that drive business growth in waste and environmental services.
**About You**
You will likely have tertiary qualification in Civil, Geotechnical or Environmental Engineering combined with more than 7 years (Associate) to 15 years (Principal) of industry experience.
You will also bring:
- Expertise addressing subsurface environmental risks, embankments, earthworks, and surface water management
- Excellent communication skills with experience in effectively engaging technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience leading and integrating into multidisciplinary projects
- A highly motivated, innovative mindset with a commitment to sustainability and technical excellence
- Demonstrated leadership, decision making and mentoring skills to support development of junior, intermediate and senior engineers
- Chartered Engineering and/or Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland or demonstrated progress towards achievement
