Director - Australia at Amida Recruitment Ltd Market-leading national civil contractor with blue-chip clients is seeking an experienced Project Director to deliver onshore wind civil and electrical packages, including access roads, footings and cabling.
Typical project values are in the A$100m to A$200m+ range.Location: Gippsland on site and Melbourne office.

Experience delivering onshore wind is required; delivery of a major project will be the focus, with possible involvement in tendering and work-winning processes as well.Responsibilities Working on tendersPlanning and scheduling of construction activitiesManagement of site project teamsQuality assurance, cost and time managementPreparation of management reportsResolving site issues in a timely mannerLiaising with key clients and stakeholdersCoordinating internal and external resourcesRecruitment and mentoring of teamsQualifications and Requirements Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or similar7-20+ years' management experience with civil packages on onshore wind construction projectsProject management qualifications advantageousHands-on understanding of constructionProven ability to lead and delegateEffective problem-solving abilitiesAbility to resolve conflict and manage client expectationsHigh level of organisation and time management skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsThe role will deliver civil and electrical packages for onshore wind projects and may involve tendering and work-winning activities.
You will be supported by an existing team and may grow that team as necessary.
Projects will range in value from A$100m to A$200m+.
