About the role
We're looking for a driven
Logistics Lead
to join our team at the
Welshpool Facility
, supporting the efficient flow of goods and services to our
Australia West Assets
operations.
Reporting to the
Transport Manager
, you'll play a key role in coordinating the
receipt, storage, and transportation
of materials, ensuring operational requirements are met safely and effectively.
This is a collaborative role where your focus on efficiency and accuracy will contribute directly to the success of our logistics operations.
In this role, you will:
Successfully coordinate Thiesslogisticsobjectives on time and within budget
Ensure that all necessary records are collated and filed in accordance with company policy, PMP, Statutory and contractual requirements
Seek Quotes from relevant suppliers in line with Policy
Submit and review compliance inspection forms
Preview off-hire charges
Raise TRF to trip transport of assets to site
Liaise with Australia West Region Projects to ascertain timeframes for arrival of goods and componentry
Coordinate of transportation and delivery solutions to ensure reliable and consistent transport
Prepare manifests for freight services loaded and dispatched from the Welshpool facility
Maintain data and records relevant to the processing of parts carried out the distribution team
Administration support for the Australia West Assets Teams
Cash forecast, Month end transaction processing and reporting
All department cost coding & JDE entry are timely and correct.
Utilise relevant systems to enter daily production and timesheet data and validate and run reports as required
About you
3+ years in a similar role supporting a busylogisticsand distribution team
Experience in the Mining Industry desirable
JDE experience advantageous
Strong Planning and Organising skills
Analytical and strategic thinker
Ability to work within a team and be flexible with a "can do" attitude
