Supplier of high-quality meat and food processing and packaging equipment to the food and beverage industry located in Rosebery is seeking a Logistics Coordinator.

As the Logistics Coordinator, your primary functions will be looking after the international shipments and sales orders you will work closely with the CFO, Sales, Technical/Project and Finance teams, to coordinate and ensure the accurate documentation of the end-to-end sales process between Supplier, and Customer.

**The focus of this position will be to**:

- Ensure Sales Administrator produces detailed and accurate quotations
- Working directly with the suppliers
- Process supplier and customer orders accurately including data entry into JIM2 (ERP system)
- Process invoices from suppliers and ensure correctness based upon agreed-upon contract terms
- Ensuring shipping documentation is accurate and available for customs clearance
- Arrange shipping of orders from overseas, liaising between freight company and supplier, completing all relevant documentation, and ensuring Project Manager is kept up to date.
- Following up with factories regarding order status/delivery deadlines
- Ensure invoices and packing lists are correct and assist in any investigations regarding invoicing
- Support the Sales team with all administrative requirements
- Coordinate attendance at industry conferences and supplier trade exhibitions
- Coordinate and schedule supplier visits in Australia and New Zealand
- Ad-hoc reports and analysis

**We are ideally looking for someone who has**:

- Experience in a similar role, ideally in a forwarding, logistics or distribution environment
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Demonstrated experience in accurate and efficient data entry - good with numbers
- Experience with the importing of equipment including dealing with freight companies and customs agents
- Exceptional attention to detail
- A proactive customer service approach
- Exposure to ERP systems
- High level of MS Office experience and skills especially Excel
- Analytically and commercially minded
- Proficient in time management & highly organised
