I-MED radiology network, North Tasmania is excited to announce the creation of 3 new permanent part time clinical assistant positions, located at either the NWRH, Mersey Hospital and Devonport Oldaker Street clinics, and St Vincents Calvary.

Thess are new opportunities for either someone already with experience in a health care environment, or someone who is looking to work with people in the health care field.

**I-MED radiology network, North Tasmania is looking for individuals that**:

**What will you be doing?**

Providing excellent customer service and patient carePerform and assist with patient movement in the Medical Imaging service area, and the hospital when clinically required
- Assist with procedure set up and providing patient support during interventional procedures
- **Opportunity for venepuncture /cannulation training**
- Maintaining strong working relationships with patients, referrers, staff and managers
- Maintain appropriate stock levels within the clinic and ensuring supplies are distributed across the clinics

**Our ideal team members will have**:

- Experience in patient handling (both physical and verbal) is **essential**
Ability to handle patient care with compassion and empathy, ensuring the patients privacy, dignity and confidentiality is maintainedGood interpersonal skills and the ability to interact amiably and effectively with both the public and colleaguesWillingness to learn
- Good time management and organisational skills
