**What to Expect**
- The Technical Trainer - APAC is a key technical member of the service organization which focuses on servicing, operating and maintaining Tesla's charging infrastructure and battery energy storage projects.
- Integrated within the Field Support Team, you will be responsible for delivering hand-on training to Tesla's internal stakeholders (Field Service Team, Tier 2, Engineering) and external stakeholders (Customers and Third Party Service Providers). You will also be working closely with the Field Service Team to roll out containment and retrofit campaigns on our growing fleet. You will be working closely with our US-based colleagues to improve training content material and ensure the containment instructions are aligned with APAC available materials and parts.
- Tesla Service team is committed and fast moving. As a member of our team, you will help to maintain the fleet to ensure an excellent customer experience and best-in-class availability. You must have a genuine passion for technology and a bias towards solving challenges that will fundamentally change the world's energy and EV charging infrastructure. You must want to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a high degree of self-sufficiency.
- This role is expected to have a strong focus on Tesla's Industrial Storage and Supercharger products across the APAC region, and as such will require frequent travel.

**What You'll Do**
- TRAINING:

- Revamp the training facilities in Melbourne to ensure adequate training can be delivered
- Support training content creation. Ensure the training is suitable to the audience and the region specificity
- Deliver training (classroom and hands on) for internal and external stakeholders
- Provide remote technical support to 3rd Parties Service Providers when they perform maintenance or service activities on Tesla products
- Onboard new Service team members and provide initial training
- CONTAINMENT AND RETROFIT CAMPAIGNS:

- Act as the main technical lead for the region with regards to containment and retrofit campaigns. Work closely with the US team to ensure containment and retrofits campaigns instructions are adequate to the region
- Define and procure locally the materials and parts necessary for successful roll out of the containment and retrofit campaigns
- Travel to sites to set-up first retrofit and containment pilots. Train the local Field Service team and share learnings in the organization
- SERVICE TOOLS:

- Work with US Tooling team and Engineering to design, procure and build the necessary tools to support our growing Service organization
- Inspect, test, calibrate all the service tools in collaboration with the Tooling coordinator

**What You'll Bring**
- Full Electrical Certification (A-Grade) is essential
- Ensuring and promoting safety during and after the training sessions
- Continuously looking at safer ways to perform the work
- Strong focus on quality using real-life examples
- Excellent written and spoken English to deliver in-person training
- Strong facilitation and interpersonal communication skills is required
- Ability to travel to support training in the field
- Coaching and training experience is plus
- Hands-on field experience with Tesla products such as Powerpack, Megapack and Supercharger is a plus
