**About the Opportunity**

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the **CAMHS** team as a** Clinician, **where you will be responsible for:

- Use expert clinical knowledge, skills, and experience to provide direction, support, orientation, and education to other staff.
- Lead and participate in action research projects, quality improvement activities, and policy development within the practice setting.
- Engage in consultation and liaison with other professional disciplines and non-governmental organizations.
- Provide assessment, education, counselling, and group work as essential components of care.
- Address inconsistencies between clinical practice and policy.
- Focus care on achieving optimum consumer health and recovery.

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Demonstrated ability to relate to people from a diverse range of cultural and social backgrounds
- Clinical experience in the treatment and management of complex child and adolescent mental health issues.
- Demonstrated experience implementing clinical assessments and interventions of a complex nature using a range of theoretical frameworks and models of practice specific to your relevant discipline
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work with individuals and families for positive mental health outcomes and to foster productive working relationships across disciplines
