**About the Opportunity**

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the **Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service** as a** Principal Project Officer, this is a multi
- The development, scoping, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of identified priority projects and initiatives that support CAMHS to deliver against the operational / business goals and priorities to meet the objectives of the recommendations of the CAMHS Strategic Review.
- Revise service pathways and care models in consultation with senior leadership, clinicians and relevant key stakeholders to improve current service delivery models to optimise consumer outcomes.
- Developing and maintaining engagement with key stakeholders and partners, within CAMHS across WCHN, community services and the wider healthcare network.
- Coaching, leading and supporting clinicians to initiate and operationalise new service innovations to optimise better outcomes for consumers and their families with a focus on continuous improvement, evaluation and best practice principles.
- Leading the development of reporting mechanisms to monitor, analyse and report on core data accessed from associated information systems as well as patient-related outcome measures for each project/service related to the CAMHS review recommendations.

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Effective leadership skills including highly developed skills in communication, problem-solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet set timelines.
- Demonstrated ability to foster a workplace environment that develops staff potential.

You will have experience in:

- The integration of contemporary information and evidence with personal experience to support decision-making, innovative thinking and objective analysis.
- Demonstrated extensive experience and success in developing, implementing and evaluating statewide/ large complex projects, including the development, implementation and evaluation of continuous improvement programs and initiatives.
- Substantial knowledge of research and evaluation methods applicable to service Improvement, project management and/or strategic planning.
