**ABOUT THE POSITION.**

As a Quality Assurance Officer in a 6-12 month contract you will develop and implement Asset inspection activities, the detection and resolution of problems, and the delivery of satisfactory outcomes, inspect councils assets prior to handover period, during practical completion as well as the completion of the maintenance period.

**DUTIES.**
- Ensure frequent coordination of information to gain cooperation for work quality
- Perform asset condition assessments for all assets including site inspection, defects identification and defects mapping
- Liaise with external stakeholders including vendors, developers and contractors
- Monitor the execution and completion of works to specifications, quality, safety and environmental standards

**SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.**
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Asset Management or relevant qualifications
- Relevant experience in quality assurance and Local Government
- Current NSW White Card
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high level of attention to detail
