We're looking for an experienced Customer Service Engineer to join our team in Perth.This is a great opportunity to step into a key customer-facing role with Malvern Panalytical, a global leader in scientific instrumentation and innovation.

This role is ideal for those who enjoy variety and travel.
You can expect to spend around 80% of your time on the road, supporting customers across Perth, remote mine sites, and interstate locations.
Occasional overseas travel may also be required.Flexibility is key, as on-call and weekend work may occasionally apply, but it also offers a chance to work in diverse environments, solve unique challenges, and make a real impact where it matters most.What you will bring to the role:Based in Western Australia, you'll join a national team of 17 Engineers responsible for servicing and supporting XRF, XRD, and SPE instruments across Australia.
Your key responsibilities will include:Installation, commissioning, and calibration of instrumentsPerforming preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performanceDiagnosing and repairing instruments during breakdownsProviding technical support and solutions to customersMaintaining detailed service records and documentationCollaborating with customers and internal teams to ensure high service standardsAbout you:5+ years of field service experience, preferably in a customer-facing roleAn Advanced Diploma or higher in Electronics with strong electro-mechanical skillsSolid IT literacy and the ability to work with various digital toolsFlexibility to travel at short notice, including remote and interstate locationsA passion for delivering excellent customer serviceExperience with X-ray fluorescence (XRF), X-ray diffraction (XRD), or neutron analysis (advantageous but not essential).
