Customer Support Engineer – Perth Australia

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Engineer based in Perth. This is a great opportunity to join a market-leading company in a key customer-facing role that is expanding.

Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

Based in Western Australia, you will join a team of 17 Engineers responsible for maintaining XRF, XRD, and SPE instruments across Australasia, including:

  • Installation, commissioning, and calibration
  • Preventative maintenance on instruments
  • Responding to breakdown calls as needed

On-call and weekend work may be required. The role involves extensive travel—at least 80% within Perth, remote mine sites, and interstate. Occasional overseas travel may also be necessary.

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years of field service experience
  • Advanced Diploma or higher in Electronics, with strong electro-mechanical skills
  • West Australian radiation safety license (advantageous)
  • IT literacy
  • Ability to travel at short notice
  • Passion for customer service
  • Experience with X-ray fluorescence, X-ray diffraction, or neutron analysis (advantageous)
