**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Factory Worker to join our production team. The role involves operating a range of power tools and timber machinery to assist in manufacturing staircase components. You will play a key role in supporting our production line to meet deadlines while maintaining our quality standards. Bilingual proficiency in both English and Chinese is essential to effectively communicate within our diverse team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate various power tools (e.g., drills, saws, sanders, nail guns) and timber machinery (e.g., panel saw, thicknesser, jointer, edge bander, spindle moulder)
- Measure, cut, shape, and prepare timber components according to job specifications
- Assist with assembling staircase parts and performing general carpentry tasks
- Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries and materials
- Perform basic maintenance checks on tools and equipment
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure timely project completion
- Communicate effectively in both English and Chinese to coordinate tasks and ensure clarity across all team members

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience using power tools and woodworking machinery (experience in staircase or joinery manufacturing highly regarded)
- Ability to read basic plans or cutting lists is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Understanding of workplace safety procedures
- Bilingual proficiency in both English and Chinese
- Full working rights in Australia

Pay: $24.37 - $35.80 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplementary Pay:
