**Join Our Team as a Workers' Compensation / Return to Work Coordinator**

**Part-time - 3 days per week, hybrid conditions**

We are looking for a Workers' Compensation Coordinator / Return to Work Coordinator to take the lead in managing claims, supporting injured workers, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

In this critical role, you will guide workers through their recovery journey, working closely with employees, management, insurance providers, and legal experts.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Manage Workers' Compensation Claims**: Oversee the complete claims process, including reporting, investigation, and tracking, while maintaining accurate records and compliance.
- **Return to Work Plan**: Liaise with business unit managers and develop progressive return to work plans nationally.
- **Employee Support**: Act as the primary contact for injured employees, providing guidance, coordinating medical appointments, and monitoring recovery progress.
- **Stakeholder Partnership**: Work closely with HR, supervisors, insurance providers, healthcare professionals, and legal advisors to ensure effective claim resolution and communication.
- **Promote Safety and Prevention**: Support safety programs, analyse claims data to identify trends, and recommend improvements to reduce workplace injuries.
- **Stay Informed and Compliant**: Keep up-to-date with workers' compensation laws and suggest policy updates to align with regulatory changes.

**About you**:

- **Comprehensive Knowledge**: Possess a strong understanding of workers' compensation laws, processes, and regulations.
- **Effective Communication**: Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with employees and stakeholders effectively.
- **Exceptional Organizational Skills**: Demonstrate strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills to manage multiple claims with professionalism and discretion.
- **Technical Expertise**: Skilled in using computer software and databases for claims tracking and reporting.
- **Collaborative and Independent**: Thrive as both a team player and an independent contributor in a fast-paced environment.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- **Desirable**: Experience in workers' compensation administration or a related role
- Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare processes is advantageous.
