Switchboard Administration officers are required to work a rotating roster that covers 24 hours per day, seven days per week, including public holidays.About YouOur ideal candidate will demonstrate:Ability to exercise personal judgment and initiative in providing efficient telecommunication services, including problem resolution and emergent response.Extensive experience and knowledge of general office and reception duties, preferably within a healthcare environment.Ability to maintain discretion and exercise judgment to resolve problems within the scope of the role, especially in situations without pre-existing precedents or procedures.Effective communication skills at all levels and ability to foster networks across the facility to streamline processes.Proficiency in computerised information systems and applications, including Microsoft Office.Ability to contribute to a cohesive team environment by sharing information and supporting colleagues proactively.Mandatory RequirementsVaccination against, and ongoing vaccination for, certain vaccine-preventable diseases as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16.Benefits17.5% annual leave loading (additional allowances may apply)12.75% employer contribution to superannuationProfessional development opportunitiesSalary sacrificing optionsWellness programsEmployee Assistance Service (EAS)Application ProcessDownload and review the attached Role Description and Information Packages.
