About the role:
As part of the ANZ People & Culture team, the Regional People Partner works closely with the People & Culture team to ensure cohesive and coordinated service across the region and business. The People Partner partners with the Regional General Manager (RGM) and Area Managers (AMs) to support on all People & Culture matters and drive the national People & Culture agenda.
Key responsibilities:
- People Capability & Culture_- Work in conjunction with the Regional General Managers (RGMs) and People & Culture Team to proactively identify people opportunities for the Region and respond to relevant people matters.- Contribute to the development and achievement of the broader people strategy by working collaboratively and cooperatively with the People Team to roll out initiatives and projects.- Positively contribute to the development of an engaged and aligned Nando's culture by role modelling our Values & Behaviours.- Partner with field leaders to identify future leaders / high potentials through talent management, workforce planning and succession planning.- Embed a performance culture though coaching leaders to manage performance.
- Recruitment, Onboarding & Workplace Learning_- Facilitate L&D workshops that support the Nandoca learning journey as required.- Work with the region's Operations team to identify skill gaps with individuals and teams and make recommendations on required learning and development opportunities.- Support recruitment priorities and strategy and actively drive recruitment activities for the region including group recruitment and supporting with Restaurant management recruitment.
- Driving Employee Relations Standards & Safety Culture_- Partner with RGMs and AMs to provide coaching and guidance on individual employee relations cases and performance management, ensuring that these are well managed in accordance with company policies, best practice and employment legislation.- Be an advocate for the Safety, Health & Wellbeing strategy, working with the RGM to bring this to life in the region.
Who are we looking for?
- Tertiary degree level qualification in Human Resources or related discipline (in progress or complete)- Proven experience in a HR generalist role and the ability to hit the ground running- Broad knowledge and experience managing all elements of the employee lifecycle- Ability to work autonomously with drive and initiative- Ability to make decisions and provide clear and accurate advice based on company policies and knowledge of current legislation- Strong relationship building skills with an ability to build rapport at all levels within the organisation- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and strong ability to influence outcomes- A strong team ethic and a willingness to learn

This role is based in Sydney however travel to interstate and remote/regional areas may be required. Although this position is mainly worked between Monday to Friday, evening and weekend work may be required.
