**About the opportunity**

The Line Haul Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of linehaul transportation within the Sydney catchment. This role ensures the efficient, safe, and timely movement of freight interstate & intrastate, influencing a team of contract drivers whilst collaborating with other departments to meet operational goals. This position involves working in both office and warehouse environments with the ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

**You'll also**
- Engage with key internal stakeholders processing facilities, delivery facilities, business centers, Agents, and support functions. - to ensure service Safety is at the forefront, performance obligations are met, cost effectively, white creating a network blueprint for the future. This includes interstate liaison with the wider network to ensure the best collaborative outcome for the Enterprise.
- Monitor network operational performance to identify emerging issues and communicate these to the network for improvement
- Effectively and efficiently plan and manage asset utilisation.
- Provide the interface across the Express network and for customers to ensure all upcoming or recognised events are accommodated in the plans and adverse outcomes have mitigation plans developed and implemented.
- Communicate on-going changes to Federal and State legislation as provided by the NSW/ACT l Linehaul Manager.
- Work with the applicable Shift & Duty Managers to ensure the agent linehaul network is operating efficiently and compliantly.
- Ensure timely departures and arrivals of line haul routes to maintain operational efficiency.

**About you**

**You'll also need**
- Comprehensive understanding of CoR and its impact and implications in relation to carriage of product by Australia Post.
- Working knowledge and understanding of logistics operations (Accept, Process, Transport and Delivery).
- Regulatory procedures and requirements.
- Understanding of Industrial Relations and WHS requirements
- Business analysis, understanding key financial tools and management reporting.
- Communication skill with a demonstrated ability to converse with industry employees and all levels of employment
- Well-developed problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve workplace conflicts.
- Ability to influence and facilitate change.
- Ability to building effective working relationships.
- Self-Awareness & Continuous Learning
- Available Monday - Friday (3pm -11pm)
