**About the Role**:
- Develops and maintains trusted and respectful partnerships with Traditional Owner groups, Aboriginal communities and other WA based Indigenous organizations.
- Supports the operations in the effective negotiation and implementation of all existing Native Title and land use agreements with Indigenous groups
- Partners across functions to support the delivery of key Reconciliation Action Plan commitments and Social Value outcomes with Traditional Owner groups and Aboriginal communities, such as supporting the development and delivery of Social Investment projects and Economic Empowerment opportunities (employment and procurement);
- Provides asset and functional coaching, support and advice on Indigenous Engagement related content and agreement making in general;
- Supports the delivery of the Cultural Respect Framework for WA, including supporting the development and roll-out of Traditional Owner Cultural Awareness/ Understanding training and Cultural immersion programs;
- Support the state level delivery of Reconciliation Action Plan - Public Engagement commitments, such as NAIDOC and National Reconciliation Week activities.
- Support the implementation of the Global Indigenous Peoples Policy
**About You**:
- Proven experience working with and development of strong relationships with Traditional Owner groups and Aboriginal communities / effective community engagement background;
- Engaging and influencing at the most senior levels of the business to drive and lead change;
- Demonstrated expertise in agreement Negotiation and implementation;
- Ability to work with and influence internal and external stakeholders to develop projects or programs that contribute to sustainable and achieve mutually beneficial outcomes;
- Proven ability to problem solve, work under pressure and time critical deadlines and;
- Tertiary qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline desirable.
