Mackellar is one of Australia's largest privately owned mining equipment & service providers in Mining and Civil Earthmoving. We are the mining services contractor for Bravus' Carmichael Mine and together we are creating jobs and opportunities for regional Queensland. Production is in full swing at the mine site located in the Galilee Basin and we're excited to be growing our team as we ramp up our next fleets

Your new role

You will be responsible for the training and upskilling of our maintenance staff members, working an 8/6 roster (day shift only) duties include:

- Assisting to implement site specific training strategies and initiatives
- Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and promptly
- Knowledge of Nationally Recognised Core Competency packages
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and work within teams to develop and implement solutions.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in the role, you will be an experienced Trainer in Open Cut Coal operations and possess:

- Certificate 4 in Training and Assessment TAE40116
- RII competencies for a broad range of high-risk work and open cut machinery
- Standard 11 and CBM
- QLD Drivers' Licence.
