In collaboration with relevant areas across Queensland Health, central agencies and external stakeholders, you will contribute to the development, delivery and evaluation of strategic policy and advice, in relation to health portfolio statutory bodies.
What you'll do
Follow defined service quality standards, occupational health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces for all employees.
Contribute to strategic policy advice to senior management, the Director-General and Minister and other departmental business units on governance issues relating to health statutory agencies.
Support senior officers in the coordination of appointment processes for significant appointments to health statutory agencies.
Develop and maintain relationships with key partners, manage relationships, consultation and liaison with key internal and external stakeholders including health statutory officeholders.
Preparation of timely, high-quality reports, submissions, briefing notes and correspondence.

**We are searching for someone with**:
Demonstrated organisational skills including the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and set priorities to achieve results within tight deadlines in a fast paced and high-pressure environment.
Ability to research and develop policy advice.
Demonstrated written communication skills and experience writing high-quality reports, submissions, briefing notes and correspondence.
Demonstrated verbal communication skills and achievements in cultivating productive working relationships, partnerships and teamwork.
Proven ability to work autonomously and as a team member with effective interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to liaise effectively and provide information and feedback, to a range of internal and external stakeholders regarding the development and implementation of organisational priorities, systems and processes.
