**The Opportunity**
We are looking for a Diversity & Inclusion Consultant to join our People & Culture team for a 12-month fixed-term contract, covering parental leave. Reporting into the Group Director, People &Culture, this role develops, implements, and manages national diversity, inclusion, and wellbeing strategies aligned with Urbis' Culture and Company Plan. The role aims to enhance Urbis' employee experience and position the company as an employer of choice.
**What you'll do**:
- Lead strategies, such as Gender Equity and the Reconciliation Action Plan to foster an inclusive environment and meet reporting requirements.
- Lead and manage actions from WGEA EOCGE, AWEI, and Family Friendly Workplaces, ensuring our goals are met and reported.
- Partner with business stakeholders to implement diversity, equity, inclusion, and wellbeing initiatives within the employee lifecycle, including developing policies that align to our high performance culture.
- Attend and lead internal inclusion committees to drive engagement and impact
- Monitor, measure & report the impact of DE&I activities, providing advice and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with legislation and escalate concerns when necessary.
**What you'll bring**:
- A passion for building impactful stakeholder relationships, including at a senior level.
- The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and efficiently, with an ability to be agile and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong communications skills, in both a verbal and written context
- Depth in knowledge and a passion for contemporary diversity and inclusion opportunities
- Experience coordinating, developing and implementing strategies, plans and policies.
- Knowledge of employment practices and legislation that align with DE&I.
