Overview
MuleSoft Business Analystrole atXPT Software Australia.
Location: Sydney, NSW, Australia.
Salary: A$115,000–A$130,000 per year.
Responsibilities
Elicit, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for APIs and integrations using MuleSoft.
Collaborate with architects and developers to define integration strategies and interface designs.
Map existing business processes and identify opportunities for automation or integration.
Prepare user stories, functional specifications, and API documentation.
Support end-to-end delivery including testing, defect management, and user acceptance.
Conduct stakeholder workshops and present solution walkthroughs.
Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and governance standards.
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a Business Analyst in API/middleware integration projects.
Strong understanding of MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, API Manager, and RAML/OpenAPI specifications.
Solid grasp of integration patterns, REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and message queues.
Experience working in Agile environments and using tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Visio.
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Knowledge of SDLC, testing lifecycle, and release management.
