We have an exciting opportunity for a trade qualified technician to join our team of machine systems technicians. This is a full-time permanent role based in Mount Maunganui.

The main objective of the role is to maintain, repair and retool plant and equipment in accordance with manufacturer recommendations, with a focus on upholding safety and maximising production at our customer's sites. To be successful, you need to have the following:

- Strong trade qualified skills (hydraulic, electrical, or pneumatic experience advantageous)
- Good fitting, fabrication and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to effectively perform preventative maintenance tasks
- You enjoy being part of a team environment, but have ability to work unsupervised
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills (written and oral)
- Customer service focussed
- Robust problem-solving skills
- Flexibility, initiative, and proactive
- Participate in rotating call out and shifts during times of peak seasonal demand and as required
- An uncompromising attitude towards Health & Safety
- Limited or full electrical licences desirable
- Fibre Packaging or production machinery knowledge advantageous

This is a salaried, full-time position which is based at Tauranga, New Zealand. Local employment terms and conditions will apply. An excellent remuneration package is on offer and will reflect the importance of this position.
