As part of this change, we are seeking to fill the brand new role of Head of Investigations – Personal Injury Claims.
This is a full-time, permanent position, with flexible working hours offering a great opportunity for leadership, professional growth, and ongoing development.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Head of Investigations – Personal Injury Claims is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing and directing all personal injury investigations within the Quantumcorp Group of Companies.
This role ensures operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and strategic growth of the investigations function, with a focus on CTP and workers compensation claims, including factual investigations, surveillance and online investigations.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the role will provide leadership, coaching and development to a national team of Technical Managers, Case Managers, Investigations Coordinators and Investigators, assist to manage key client relationships, and develop policies and procedures to ensure high-quality, ethical, and legally compliant investigative practices.
The Head of Investigations – Personal Injury Claims will play a key part in driving the growth and success of the Personal Injury Group, identifying and resolving business performance gaps, overseeing recruitment, resourcing strategies, coaching and development, and ensuring the effective delivery of investigation services across the Personal Injury business.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for:
Financial and Budget Management –
Oversee and manage the annual Personal Injury Group operations to ensure each Practice Group meets its annual budget and financial targets
Leadership & Continuous Improvement –
Provide strategic leadership to the Personal Injury Group, ensuring alignment with company goals, including growth, innovation and continuous improvement
Compliance & Risk Management –
Ensure investigations align with regulatory standards, industry codes, client SLA's and internal policies and procedures
Operational Management –
Oversee the day-to-day investigative operations across all Personal Injury Groups including case allocation, workflow management, quality assurance, timely completion of jobs and cost-effective services are provided to clients
Client Management & Business Development –
Help to build and maintain strong trusted client relationships by providing and driving excellent customer service, high quality investigations and fast turnarounds
Reporting & Analytics -
Prepare regular performance and operational reports for the Managing Director and senior leadership.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for a proactive leader with a calm, friendly but professional demeanour and a strong background in insurance and/or investigations. Ideally, you have:
Insurance & Investigations Experience
– proven background managing personal injury insurance claims for Workers Compensation and/or CTP insurers.
Technical Expertise
– strong knowledge of the Workers Compensation and/or CTP insurance claims processes, and legal and investigation frameworks.
Communication & Reporting
– excellent verbal and written communication skills, including critical analysis and ability to liaise effectively with clients and internal teams.
Attention to Detail & Organisation
– ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and ensuring business objectives are met.
Leadership & Teamwork
– experience leading and mentoring teams, and driving top performance and results.
Tech Proficiency
– strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and case management systems.
Professionalism & Attitude
– confident, motivated, and adaptable, with a calm, measured and positive approach to challenges.
Eligibility
– must have full working rights in Australia (sponsorship/temporary visas not considered).
