About The Role
Royal Prince Alfred is the principal teaching hospital of the University of Sydney, offering speciality services from its main campus and other associated hospitals.
It provides extensive diagnostic and treatment services across various specialties including cardiology, obstetrics and gynaecology, cancer, respiratory medicine, neurology, and transplants.
The Clinical Psychologist will provide assessment, care, and management for a large, multi-centre, MRFF-funded randomized controlled trial.
Days of work are negotiable, and experience as a third-year service Clinical Psychologist is highly desirable.

Ideal Candidate
Current registration to practice as a psychologist, endorsement or working towards endorsement in clinical psychology, with a postgraduate degree in clinical psychology (Masters, Doctorate, or PhD) that qualifies for full membership of APS and ACPA.
Demonstrated clinical knowledge, skills, and experience in clinical psychology interventions, including therapies such as CBT, Interpersonal Therapy, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Insight-Oriented Psychotherapy.
Skills in working with families are also required.
