About The Role

Sydney Local Health District has a long and proud history of delivering care in the community including prevention, early intervention, assessment, treatment, health maintenance and continuing care services designed to improve and support the health and wellbeing of individuals and communities. There is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Child and Family Health Psychology team. We provide high quality psychological assessment, formulation and tailored interventions for preschool and primary school aged children with a family centred approach. The team also works with developmental paediatricians and other allied health professionals to provide early intervention services. In addition, complex diagnostic assessments conducted in conjunction with the developmental paediatricians are also a feature of the position.

Ideal Candidate
  • Current AHPRA general registration as a psychologist with an endorsement in Clinical Psychology.
  • Master's degree or higher in Clinical Psychology.
  • Evidenced competence in assessing, diagnosing, case formulation, and treating psychological problems in children.
  • Current NSW Driver's Licence (P1 and P2 acceptable).
