As a Project Officer in the Strategic Projects and Governance team, you will:
**Support Strategic Projects**: Assist with the implementation, delivery, and management of selected programs and projects under the Advance Queenslandinitiative. Your work will directly contribute to the economic and innovation growth of Queensland.
**Conduct Research and Analysis**: Undertake comprehensive research and analysis on various topics to support the team's key functional areas. Your insights will help shape policy direction and program outcomes. Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and maintain effective networks with internaland external stakeholders, including across government, industry, investors and innovators. Your ability to build and sustain these relationships will be critical to the success of the projects. Coordinate Project Reporting: In collaboration with the Director and Managers, contribute to and coordinate project reporting. You will prepare presentations, briefings, submissions, and other departmental correspondence, ensuring that all documentation adheres to governance frameworks and is completed within set timelines.
**Financial and Budget Management**: Provide support in the development and maintenance of budgeting processes. You will ensure that key deliverables are met within agreed timeframes and that all financial aspects of the projects are managed efficiently.
**Secretariat Support**: Offer secretariat support to committees, forums, events, roundtables, and high-level meetings as required. This includes managing logistics such as travel arrangements, agendas, minutes, and tracking action items to ensure follow-up.
**Foster Team Collaboration**: Work collaboratively with team members, other project teams, and Advance Queensland delivery agencies to maintain effective working relationships. Your contribution to a positive team culture will be key to delivering successful outcomes.
