**The Department**

The National Sales Manager NITV is responsible for developing and leading growth strategies for revenue and revenue share within NITV's television and digital sales portfolio, in line with the SBS Media Sales and SBS Corporate Plans.

**The Role**

Reporting into our Director, Media Sales within our Media Sales team, this role will see you:

- Leading the implementation of NITV TV and Digital strategies in line with Divisional and Corporate Plans
- Actively solicit negotiate and conclude advertising placement agreements for NITV.
- Manage and optimise Agency & Client relationships for NITV TV & Digital revenue.
- Identification and co-ordination of contact with advertising media agencies including existing and potential advertisers for NITV.
- Deliver revenue share that is higher than the NITV ratings indexes as applicable for the financial year.
- Work with Director, Media Sales in setting, monitoring, communicating and modifying where necessary, trading policies for the sales operation.
- Undertake strategic, business, and financial planning for the sales operation for the set financial years including sales forecasts, costs budgets, and operational efficiency improvement plans and phasing.
- Conducting, co-ordinating and being involved in marketing and sales presentations and promotions to advertising agencies, and other potential purchasers of advertising inventory to the Channel.
- Complete major annual television and digital negotiations to budgets and targets.
- Identification of and solicitation of prospective participants of sponsorship opportunities and events.
- Role offered on 9 month contract with a possible view to extend.

**About you**:

- A well-rounded Sales Executive who is ready for that next step in their career trajectory to make a real difference.
- An outstanding communicator and who is able to build and maintain effective relationships at all levels.
- Experience preparing PowerPoint presentations, could put together production briefs and completing sales reports.
- Experience in providing effective sales solutions to National Media Agency clients and have established relationships within the agency market.
- Experience selling television and/or digital video will be highly regarded, but not critical.
- Audience obsessed, and dedicated to provide outstanding customer service in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
