Meat Assistant Manager role at Drakes Supermarkets, Queensland – Regional.
Responsibilities
The successful applicant will be given the opportunity to treat the department as if it were their own business and tailor the store's service and product offering to meet the local area's needs.
Working as part of an enthusiastic team in a highly competitive supermarket environment, applicants will be expected to demonstrate:
Fresh food retail knowledge
Completion of 2nd Year Butchery Apprenticeship is essential
Expertise in supervising team members
An understanding of ordering, cost control and gross profit
Staff rostering will be an advantage
Passion and enthusiasm, with a very "hands on" approach
Unparalleled commitment to customer service
Excellent communication skills
Ability to liaise with both staff and management
A flair for merchandising
Commitment to work health and safety standards
