
Vehicle Assessment

**Position Purpose**
To ensure that the product provided by the company is consistent and meets requirements, legal compliance and customer standards. To maintain, review and implement the Company's Quality Management Systems and ensure the effective review of customer feedback and product development. Ensuring contract terms are adhered to quality and cost-effective outcomes for the client whilst maintaining high product standards and compliance.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
**Vehicle Assessment - Incoming**
- Assessing incoming Decommission Vehicles - Inspection of vehicles internal and external components using inspection checklists. Assess damage and restoration capabilities of vehicle and accessories
- Vehicle Intake processes - Including Administration, photos and correspondence to client where required. Ensure client standards are met and maintained.
**Quality Assurance - Outgoing**
- Quality inspection of new built Ambulance Vehicles ensuring they meet client inspection criteria
- Ensure that the Company's Quality Management System (QMS) complies with Customers, Company, ISO 9001, and regulatory/legal requirements.
- Manage the monitoring, measurement and review of internal process, especially those that affect the quality of the Company's products.
- Work with customers, employees, and contractors to develop and maintain product requirements.
- Report to Higher Management and Director on the performance of the QMS, including the need for improvement.
- Keep up to date on Standards, Regulations/laws, issues and news with respect to product quality.
- Take all reasonable care for the health and safety of all people and the environment at work.
**Performance Goals**:
- Complete tasks accurately, and within given timelines.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers and other employees professionally at all times.
- Keep up to date with relevant Standards, regulations and laws in relation to ISO 9001, Quality Assurance
- Ensure that the Company is meeting its Quality Management Standards, Objectives and Goals as outlined in the Quality Management System.
- Ensure that client contract terms are adhered too
- Continue to establish and maintain a safe workplace and foster an environment of attention according to Work Health and Safety Guidelines,
- Take all reasonable care for the health and safety of all people and the environment at work.
**Skills Required**:
- Qualification and or equivalent experience relevant to role
- Skills in Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excell, PowerPoint and Outlook).
