About the Position

This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in shaping the future of our community. As a Development Assessment Coordinator, you will oversee the assessment and determination of development applications under the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act, manage court appeals, and drive continuous improvement in customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement process enhancements for regulatory compliance
  • Allocate duties efficiently and undertake complex planning tasks
  • Contribute to business strategy and financial sustainability
  • Ensure effective management of planning panel processes

You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with a dynamic team to deliver appropriate development outcomes that balance natural, built, social, and economic environments in alignment with public interest.

What We Offer
  • Permanent, Full-time position
  • Salary from $137,358.18 - $159,150.21 per annum plus 12% superannuation
  • Vehicle Allowance or leaseback vehicle
  • 9-day fortnight subject to operational requirements
  • Hybrid working environment and flexible start and finish times
Essential Criteria
  • Tertiary Qualifications in Town Planning, Building Surveying or related field
  • Construction Induction (White card)
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in Environmental Planning and Assessment Act
