**About the Role**
Churches of Christ is looking for a Business Continuity Advisor who will be responsible for the assessment of organisational risk and the development and implementation of business continuity planning.
Reporting directly to the General Manager - Risk and Assurance, your day to day will consist of:
- In conjunction with our Risk Manager, conduct analysis of risk to identify and rank continuity and recovery priorities and the potential impacts of unpredictable business interruptions.
- Research, evaluate and provide recommendations on emergency management plans and industry best practice.
- Implement, test and continuously improve business continuity plans and procedures to mitigate organisational impact.
- Collaborate with Information Technology to develop and implement Technology Disaster Recovery Plans for the protection and restoration of data and systems.
- Advise and support the development of documentation; internal policy and procedures, manuals and guidelines and provide emergency response training and information sessions.
- Liaise with audits and examination of disaster recovery processes; coordinate the Crisis Management Team.
- Provide management reporting on disaster recovery activities.
Indicative Total Remuneration is from $101,800.00 (plus significant salary sacrificing benefits + superannuation).
**About You**
As an integral member of the Governance group, you will support activities aligned with the strategic direction of and consistent with the mission and values of Churches of Christ; Unconditional Love, Continual Innovation, Mutual Trust, Wise Stewardship and Safety.
You will be someone who can communicate effectively, work collaboratively, exemplify effective leadership and management skills and possess strong interpersonal relationship skills. A mind for continual innovation and service improvement is an expectation and should excite you. You will have proven ability to handle difficult situations with diplomacy and a strong desire to deliver results and meet objectives.
In addition, you will have the following qualifications, experience and skills:
- Degree in Business Administration/Risk Management or Information Technology field;
- A minimum 5 years' experience in Management;
- Previous experience in disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
- Advanced computer skills with the ability to use Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Possess a current National Police Certificate - or the ability to acquire.
- Under Churches of Christ policy and/or the applicable public health directions, team members are required to be vaccinated for Covid-19.
