Business Continuity Planning Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Continuity Planning Expert to join our Governance team. As an integral member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting activities aligned with the strategic direction of our organisation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing organisational risk and developing business continuity plans. Your day-to-day will consist of:

  • Conducting in-depth analysis of risk to identify and rank continuity and recovery priorities;
  • Researching and evaluating emergency management plans and industry best practices;
  • Implementing, testing and continuously improving business continuity plans and procedures;
  • Collaborating with Information Technology to develop Technology Disaster Recovery Plans;
  • Providing expert advice on documentation, internal policy and procedures, and emergency response training;
  • Liaising with audits and examinations of disaster recovery processes;
  • Providing management reporting on disaster recovery activities.

You will work collaboratively with our Risk Manager and other stakeholders to achieve our goals. You will have strong interpersonal relationship skills, effective communication and leadership skills, and a mind for continual innovation and service improvement.

In addition to your skills and experience, you will possess a Degree in Business Administration or a related field, a minimum 5 years' experience in Management, and previous experience in disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
