Job Title: Child Dental Specialist
Our Oral Health team is seeking a dedicated and compassionate specialist to join us at Campbelltown Hospital Dental Centre. This rewarding opportunity involves providing high-quality dental care to children and adolescents across the district, within a supportive and multidisciplinary environment.
The ideal candidate will provide clinical dental care to patients of the Oral Health Service in SWSLHD facilities, on a sessional basis. They will be expected to practice within their complete scope of their practice and minimise unnecessary referrals to other centres.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing high-quality clinical dental care to children and adolescents
Working effectively in multi-disciplinary dental teams
Minimising unnecessary referrals to other centres
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Registered (with no conditions) with the Dental Board of Australia as a Specialist in Paediatrics or Special Needs Dentistry
Current professional medical/dental indemnity insurance
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Understanding of infection control principles
Computer skills for clinical and associated applications
Commitment to quality assurance and patient safety activities relevant to dental practice
