Job Title: Child Dental Specialist

Our Oral Health team is seeking a dedicated and compassionate specialist to join us at Campbelltown Hospital Dental Centre. This rewarding opportunity involves providing high-quality dental care to children and adolescents across the district, within a supportive and multidisciplinary environment.

The ideal candidate will provide clinical dental care to patients of the Oral Health Service in SWSLHD facilities, on a sessional basis. They will be expected to practice within their complete scope of their practice and minimise unnecessary referrals to other centres.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing high-quality clinical dental care to children and adolescents
  • Working effectively in multi-disciplinary dental teams
  • Minimising unnecessary referrals to other centres
Required Qualifications and Skills:
  • Registered (with no conditions) with the Dental Board of Australia as a Specialist in Paediatrics or Special Needs Dentistry
  • Current professional medical/dental indemnity insurance
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of infection control principles
  • Computer skills for clinical and associated applications
  • Commitment to quality assurance and patient safety activities relevant to dental practice
