Salary Range: $79,057 to $133,846 plus $31,034 (NSW AP Prim Promotional Allowance). Salary based on years of service plus superannuation

About The Role
The Assistant Principal is a key member of the school's leadership team, working closely with the Principal to foster a positive, inclusive, and high-achieving school culture. The Assistant Principal supports the strategic direction of the school by contributing to collaborative decision-making, goal setting, and the implementation of initiatives that enhance teaching and learning. The Assistant Principal oversees the delivery of evidence-based practices, monitors student progress, and uses data to inform continuous improvement. A strong focus is placed on supporting teachers through professional development, coaching, and mentoring, while also strengthening partnerships with families and the wider community. This position requires a balance of instructional leadership, operational management, and a commitment to ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Qualifications And Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor of Teaching or Master of TeachingNSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) registrationNSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) accreditationAcademic qualifications additional to Initial Teacher Education (Master's Degree or five-year equivalent)Provide a reference from a current Parish PriestAccreditation E or be due to complete Accreditation E in accordance with the Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Catholic Education Canberra and Goulburn Policy Practising Catholic connected to a parish or other worshipping community
