The inventory controller has the overall responsibility for the effective and accurate management and control of inventory levels across the warehouse.

The Inventory Controller works with the Receiving/Inventory Manager to manage all aspects of warehouse inventory. They are responsible for managing all aspects of the business inventory to help ensure that the service levels are maintained as per the business KPIs. and at the same time keeping costs to budgeted targets.

**Work Environment**:

- Warehouse environment with some physical effort necessary to perform the job, including prolonged standing
- Diverse and collective workforce

**Experience**:

- 3 to 5 years experience in a similar role in supply chain, warehouse, and logistics
- Experience in using WHS/ERP systems (JD Edwards, Oracle)
- Experience in warehouse and logistics operations, with hands-on inventory/material planning experience

**Education**:

- Minimum High school diploma or equivalent
- Hold a valid and current forklift license
- Formal education or certifications in Logistics/Supply chain Operations

**Essential Functions & Accountabilities**:

- Assisting in the management of the receiving and put-away functions of inbound stock.
- Monitoring backorders and addressing any that can be resolved with inbound or returned stock.
- Performing Cycle count process including the management of the cycle count plan and tracker.
- Correcting processing of inventory adjustments
- Lot blocking management and assisting RAQA as required.
- Inventory management
- receipt of stock, stock adjustments, obsolete stock, end-of-month processes and quarantine of unsaleable stock
- Managing of over-label resupply process including the generation of Purchase Orders.
- Managing of warehouse consumables.
- Liaising with marketing to ensure timely action of literature resupply.
- Handling and dealing with customer enquiries/ complaints and ensuring all enquiries are resolved.
- Ensuring all risks are managed with the risk management process.
- Ensuring adherence to all standard company policies including WH&S regulations are adhered to by all staff within the warehouse.
- At times will be required to manage the pick-ship operation
- Striving to help the business achieve its Strategic Imperatives.
- KPI reporting as required
