Senior Legal Counsel - Maternity Cover - Melbourne The Icon Group is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel for a 12 month fixed term contract to support our subsidiaries – Icon, Minicon & Barpa responsible for the provision of legal advice and support.
Responsibilities: Demonstrate excellence in tendering by delivering precise, high-quality work aligned with business objectives.
Maintain a superior technical standard, meet tender deadlines consistently, and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
Facilitate accessible and relevant communication in tender processes through appropriate methods and clear, concise wording.
Provide precise legal advice with clear recommendations for tendering, identifying areas of uncertainty and ensuring understanding.
Balance excellence and pragmatism in tendering by identifying and managing deviations from Icon Group benchmarks.
Drive compliance with internal approval processes in tendering and proactively minimize risk exposure.
Advise proactively on delivery phase matters, and work with key internal stakeholders to develop effective strategies to assist in preventing disputes.
Requirements: Qualified lawyer with 8+ years of relevant experience.
