Our Group's over 3000 team members, consistently strive to make a difference in the communities we serve.Overview of our roleIn this role, you'll provide thoughtful and reliable administration, data verification, and contract support for the Lands team as we work on tenure for our network and non-network assets.
You'll bring a calm and collaborative approach to balancing the needs of a dynamic team and will help ensure our work is delivered smoothly and with care.Day to day, you'll assist with preparing and finalising documentation such as easements, leases, licences, land crossing agreements, purchases, and divestments.
You'll also support with database and document management, handling related transactions, answering queries, and coordinating administration in line with Jemena's values and policies.Beyond administration, you'll be a valued partner to the Lands team by contributing to improvements in our land management systems, processes, and other key projects.
Accuracy, attention to detail, and a solutions-focused mindset will be important as you help the team deliver its outcomes.A little about youDemonstrated experience in a legal secretarial / administrative environment including the use of word processing, spreadsheet and database software, arranging meetings and appointments, seminars / workshops and maintaining correspondence filesDemonstrated ability in providing support services to a busy team and liaison with other teamsExperience managing administrative projects and initiatives to prescribed timeframesProven ability to build and maintain relationships and work as a team playerDesirable to have experience in the utility or energy sectorQualifications / certifications & SkillsCertificate level or higher in either administration, legal administration or similar is preferredAbility to apply a range of technology skills, including an advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, PowerPoint and experience with SAPDemonstrate exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skillsExperience in dealing with highly sensitive issues and strictly confidential mattersDemonstrate exceptional attention to detail and accuracyDemonstrated understanding of office / administrative procedures including file managementWhy you should come and work for usOur people are our energy source and we offer meaningful benefits and rewards that work for you.
