**Salary: $79,032.00 pa - $86,539.00 pa, plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading**
**Your role**
This role provides you with** **an opportunity to provide clerical support to the Human Services Dataset project team.
The Human Services Dataset brings together administrative data from across government to take a powerful view of service usage and outcomes. The Human Services Dataset is used to inform policy and program delivery in NSW and improve outcomes for children, young people and their families.
**What you'll do**
As part of the Insights, Analysis and Research (FACSIAR) directorate, you will be is responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities associated with the administration of the Human Services Dataset, to support the project team's compliance with the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998 (NSW) and the Health Records and Information Privacy Act 2002 (NSW).
As part of a small team reporting to the Manager, you will:
- assist data analysts, governance officers and project officers with a range of administrative processes relating to the Human Services Dataset
- provide a range of project support and administrative services to enable oversight of the Human Services Dataset
- respond to enquiries and data requests. Communicate with customers around use of the Human Services Dataset
- support the coordination of at least annual updates of the Human Services Dataset and annual audits
- undertake additional tasks that may arise that require the Project Support Officer's involvement.
**What we're looking for**
Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline and/or equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience with demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
We are looking for a motivated high performer who has:
- Good organisation and project management skills with demonstrated ability to understand project goals, problem solve, and deliver assigned tasks in line with timeframes.
- Good communication skills with the demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and clearly by phone, face to face, and in writing. Is able to work collaboratively across a range of stakeholders including other DCJ Divisions, state and Commonwealth agencies, academics/researchers and other organisations.
