We are looking for an enthusiastic Analyst who has a passion for numbers and shoes. Primarily working with retail and supply chain teams, the Merchandise Analyst will provide reporting and analysis data to assist the company in making effective business decisions.

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Regular Analysis of retail store and warehouse inventory to support the reduction in
idle stock and improve stock allocation efficiency.
- Create data driven reporting that provide valuable insights to support efficiency and
growth aligned with business targets.
- Analyse sales and stock data across store and warehouse locations to support our
valued customer experience.
- Forecasting sales and stock to ensure the business is proactive and agile in
inventory performance.
- Analyse actual sales against a planned forecast, making recommendations
accordingly.
- Sharing innovative ideas and unique perspectives that can enhance sales and stock
management.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and execute effective strategies.

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE**
- A tertiary qualification or equivalent in business, economics, accounting or finance is
preferred; open to recent Chartered Accountant graduates.
- Strong analytical and research skills
- A high degree of numeracy and analytical thinking
- To be able to make decisions and meet deadlines whilst working in a fast-paced,
pressurised environment
- To confidently influence and persuade at all levels
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy
- Retail experience will be advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 Applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word.
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- Capable of multitasking and excellent at problem-solving.
