About the Role:
As a key member of the Quality, Safeguarding and Practice team, you will provide leadership and expertise in establishing and maintaining a culture that is collaborative, accountable, engaged, agile, and focused on delivering excellent outcomes for our staff, clients, and stakeholders.
Your role will encompass leading quality, compliance, risk management, and feedback management activities, ensuring that our services meet the highest standards of care and safety.
- ** Support the Manager** in achieving compliance with internal and external standards, including accreditation and professional practice standards.
- ** Coordinate incident and feedback management systems**, ensuring timely resolution and reporting.
- ** Participate in the development and implementation** of our safeguarding and quality framework.
- ** Stay informed of sector developments** in person-centric practice and contribute to building a community of excellence.
- ** Lead practice reviews** and continuous improvement programs to ensure compliance with legislation, standards, and policies.
- ** Provide advice on legislative requirements** regarding safeguarding and client safety.
- ** Influence and contribute** to the development of organisational frameworks, policies, and procedures to enhance service delivery and client outcomes.
- ** Collaborate with the team** to build workforce capacity and skills in practice excellence.
About You:
- A degree or qualification in a related field such as Management, Social Services, or Quality Management.
- A sound understanding of the legislative and regulatory environment for disability support, child safe services, and other community services areas.
- Demonstrated understanding of human rights and person-centred approaches.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
- Well-developed communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Experience in developing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical and report writing skills.
- A commitment to reflective practice, ongoing learning, and delivering training opportunities.
- Experience in the not-for-profit, disability, or child protection sectors.
- Experience in leading or participating in auditing or quality practice reviews.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A degree in a relevant field.
- Current Australian Driver's Licence.
- Current NSW Working with Children's Check (or eligibility to obtain one).
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Current Police Check (or eligibility to obtain one).
- COVID-19 vaccination certificate.
