Downer Group is seeking a proactive and experienced Learning Delivery Lead to join our team in either Sydney or Melbourne. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the development of our workforce, ensuring our teams are equipped with the skills and leadership capability needed to thrive in an ever-evolving market.
Reporting to the General Manager of Capability and Culture, in this newly created role you will be at the forefront of our Learning & Development strategy, designing and delivering innovative programs that build leadership capabilities across our business. Your expertise will drive the creation of impactful learning experiences, utilising modern training methods and technologies to engage and develop our people.
**About Your Role**:
The Learning Delivery Lead is responsible for supporting the Learning & Development (L&D) strategy for Downer Group by designing, delivering, and promoting Group Learning programs aimed at building capability across Downer.
Your role will also involve designing and facilitating engaging, participant-centric group-wide learning programs, and contributing to group-wide initiatives that enhance our People & Culture strategy.
The key objectives are:
- Developing capable leaders and workforce across our business. Provide expert guidance on learning & development processes.
- Developing and facilitating leadership programs that build leadership capability in targeted talent groups to operate across the Downer business, utilising the leadership capability model that defines the leadership attributes that Downer requires for current and future success.
- Providing guidance, thought leadership, and facilitate development and management of learning and development to achieve engagement, performance, and productivity outcomes.
- Developing and managing key development and training programs that are endorsed to be run as a Group program, ensuring that training/development resources are effectively deployed to meet identified needs and priorities, and that delivery complies with approved internal and external standards.
- Being a key contributor in the community of practice across Learning and Development functions across Downer, ensuring a cohesive and consistent approach to all facets of capability in the organisation - including but not limited to programs (curation of content), suppliers and systems.
**About You**:
- A degree or certification in Human Resources, Organization Development, or Adult Learning.
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in designing and facilitating learning programs, preferably in a large, complex organisation.
- Specialist knowledge in adult learning and program development.
- Proven ability to manage key business stakeholders and deliver strategic L&D objectives.
- Strong project management skills and experience in leading large-scale learning programs.
- A collaborative approach, able to work effectively within a matrixed structure.
- A passion for developing talent and driving innovative learning solutions.
- High emotional intelligence, resilience, and the ability to perform under pressure.
- Ability to travel for the delivery of programs.
