**Opportunity**:
Our client is looking for Workshop Stores Person to join our team at Rutherford NSW. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands-on role, possesses a strong work ethic, and has a passion for supporting workshop operations. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the smooth and efficient running of our workshop stores. Happy to do labouring when required.

**Responsibilities**:

- Receive and inspect incoming goods, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Organize and maintain the workshop stores area in a neat and orderly manner.
- Issue parts and tools to workshop staff, ensuring proper documentation and recording.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in reordering as required.
- Conduct regular stock takes and update inventory records.
- Perform basic data entry tasks using computer systems.
- Operate a forklift for lifting and moving heavy items (valid forklift license required).
- Assist with general workshop tasks and provide support to the team when needed.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience as a Stores Person or similar role in a workshop environment (not warehousing).
- Valid forklift license.
- Driver's License.
- Relevant PPE.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills.
- Inventory management.
- Hold a manual driver's license.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, following instructions and prioritizing tasks accordingly.
