**The Company**
A leading garment manufacturing business who operate across the globe with offices in Australia, Germany, Canada and the US. The company are exporters of men's and women's fashion clothing along with workwear, corporate wardrobe and uniforms to a vast array of retailers and wholesalers situated globally. Domestically, holds a commanding market position as key supplier to some of the countries leading retailers. Along with this the company operates an established workwear and uniform supply business in B2B and B2 Retail delivering products including industrial workwear, PPE, corporate wardrobe and uniforms.
**The Role**
Opportunity exists for a highly talented, commercially minded professional to expand market supply within Australia. Using your present customer network and strong customer relationships supplying all or any of industrial workwear, PPE, corporate wardrobe and uniforms in apparel, you will lead the national sales function for establishing new business through either B2B or B2 Retail.
**Must haves**:
- Proven track record of Identifying and establishing market opportunities for the supply of men's and women's workwear, uniforms and corporate apparel.
- Lean in utilising your current customer network and relationships in promoting the supply and service offering model of direct supply to customer as directed by the business
- Working closely with the companies CEO, you will develop and implement strategically commercial business plans with input into managing the divisions P & L and sales projections.
- With support from a small local team in Australia you will be customer facing with the ability to excel in customer service and solution thinking.
- Having worked in a similar sales leading role within the workwear and uniforms market in Australia you will possess a strong knowledge of the customer marketplace and be able to easily identify distribution channels for the supply of the companies manufactured apparel.
- You will possess a high level of product knowledge surrounding workwear, uniforms and corporate apparel from fabric, garment making, styling and market trends.
- An ability to seek out garment supply Tender Opportunities from either/or Government and Private institutions with the competence to respond and submit RFT's. Other Requirements
- As a mature, commercially minded business professional you will demonstrate the ability to work independently and within a small team environment located in either Melbourne or Sydney.
- Interstate travel as required.
- Demonstrated superior communication skills - both written and verbal.
