**The Role**:
We currently have a great opportunity for an Officer to join the Trade Finance Operations Team within C&IB. Our core business is processing Trade Finance transactions involving Documentary Letters of Credit and collections. The purpose of this role is to process international transactions for clients based in Asia region, under Import and Export Letter of Credit and Collection, based in various market segments, including Institutional and Corporate Banking.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Extracts & assembles data to processes forms using cheques, security documents, letters of credit, commercial shipping documents
- Prepares various Trade related transactions based on customer instructions; Transactions include Trade
- Finance, Letters of Credit, Collection and Standby Letters of Credit and Guarantees
- Respond to queries from customers and support the client relationship
- Handles errors and works to identify the cause and recommend amendments to procedures to deal with them

**Your skills and experience**:
Ideally you will have current experience in Trade Finance and transaction processing, particularly Trade documentation and Letters of Credit.

You will be passionate about customer service and driven by completing accurate transactions within set timeframes and have demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

**_ **Please note that the hours of this role are from 10.00 AM to 7.00 PM in winter and 11.00 AM to 8.00 PM in summer._**
