Preschool Room Leader (ECT or working towards qualified)About the roleExplorers Learning Academy, a highly regarded early childhood education provider, is seeking a passionate and experienced Room Leader for our Preschool room, ideally you will be an ECT or currently working towards.
This is a full-time position based in Bardia, NSW.
As the Room Leader, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and enriching environment that supports the children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.What you'll be doingDevelop and implement engaging educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning FrameworkSupervise and mentor a team of Educators to ensure high-quality care and learning outcomesBuild strong relationships with children and their families, fostering open communication and collaborationEnsure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including work health and safetyContribute to the continuous improvement of the service through reflective practice and feedbackParticipate in professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledgeWhat we're looking forMinimum Graduate Diploma or Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) qualification in Early Childhood EducationDemonstrated experience as a Room Leader or in a similar supervisory role within the childcare sectorExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleaguesStrong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectivelyPassion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care and learning experiencesKnowledge of the National Quality Framework and the ability to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standardsWhat we offerOngoing professional development and training opportunitiesSupportive and collaborative team environmentDiscounted childcare fees for your own childrenAbout usExplorers Learning Academy is a leading provider of early childhood education services in the local community.
