Our client is a global business, recruiting an experienced Lead Merchandise Planner to lead their planning team during a time of exciting growth in this newly created role.

**The role**:
The Lead Planner will be responsible for developing systems and procedures to streamline the critical path process and be accountable to create the range plan, and review and analyse product margin and product performance. You will drive the relationships of UK stockists to increase business growth with the support of your team.

**Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for**:

- Policies, systems and culture
- Team leadership and management
- Merchandise Planning
- Product Development and Operations
- Meeting targets, commitments and deadlines

**To be successful you will have**:

- 5+ years in similar roles, managing a merchandise team
- Advanced excel proficiency
- Extensive knowledge of key market seasonality and demand
- Exceptional numerical and analytical abilities, and a commercially minded
- Strong demand, replenishment and planning skills
- A keen eye for details with a strong sense of the overall competitors & landscape and consumer trends are essential
