We're looking for a talented Commis Chef to bring creativity, passion, and precision to our menu, creating an exceptional dining experience that delights our guests.
This casual role offers a unique stage to showcase your culinary skills in a dynamic and rewarding environment.
Your key responsibilities may include:Prepare and cook a diverse range of dishes to the highest standard with careful attention to recipes and artful presentation.Ensure a clean, well-organized, and efficient kitchen, maintaining the highest food safety and hygiene standards.Be able to work effectively both as a part of a team and independent situations.Work closely with the front-of-house team to deliver a dining experience that leaves a lasting impression on our guests.Skills & ExperienceAt least 1 year in a Commercial kitchen as Commis or similar role within a similar restaurant or hotel.Formal culinary training, such as a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, showcasing your commitment to the craft.A true passion for high-quality, innovative dishes.A collaborative spirit, with a positive attitude and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.Strong multitasking abilities and efficiency, thriving in a fast-paced kitchen environment.Benefits & PerksIncredible team member discounts from your first day on-the-job.50% off stays at EVT hotels – Rydges, QT, Atura, Lylo and more.
